Xbox Live 12 Months Gold — £18.97 at Gamestation + Little Effort

I managed to take advantage of this the week before last when Halo Anniversary was £7.99 at Play.com
But since that shot back up to £17.99 it killed it. However, Amazon are now doing Halo Anniversary for £8.99 delivered – and therefore you can buy two copies and trade them in (+99p) at GameStation for 12 Months Gold

Now, the manager at the store I used was pretty laid back/cool/Fonze, but he did advise to ring ahead to your desired store, as they might not be running it (although it is a National Incentive/Promotion) and some stores might be funny about accepting two of the same game.
But my manager dude said that the sign said “Two of these games” it didn’t say “Any two” or “one of each” – so he was quite ‘normal’ in respect to the usual power munching douches that run these stores.
£7.99 + £7.99 + £0.99 = £18.97
For those of use who had their local Gamestation close down, do you know if GAME are running a similar promotion?
From rumours I’ve heard – it looks like GAME are doing this too.
But as always, I’d recommend some prilimary phone calls before hand
My local GAME are offering £19.50 trade-in for this until Thursday and didn’t mind me trading in 2 copies of Halo. I’d assume you could use it towards anything and still save!
